Welcome to the North Houston .NET User Group

You've found the new digital home for the North Houston .NET User Group, or NHDNUG. The North Houston DNUG was founded to provide continuing education and professional development across the spectrum of Microsoft .NET Developer Technologies for developers in the North Houston area. We meet the third Thursday of every month at Montgomery College in The Woodlands, Texas starting at 6:30 PM. Our events are open to anyone, so if you're interested in .NET or just want some free pizza, join us at our next meeting.

Why a North Houston group?

Glad you asked. Houston already has a very well established and flourishing DNUG that meets on the second Thursday of every month. This group meets at Microsoft's offices in Houston, which is quite a drive away from areas north of Houston, especially during rush hour traffic. The inconvenience of the location makes it very difficult for developers in the Spring, Kingwood, Conroe, and The Woodlands areas to attend the local DNUG and plug-in to the .NET community.

The North Houston DNUG aims to solve the problem by establishing a community of .NET developers in North Houston area. Meetings will be held in The Woodlands, which is centrally located between Conroe and Spring, on the third Thursday of the month so you can attend both DNUGs if you're interested. NHDNUG will work hard to bring-in world class speakers from the .NET community and make the meetings as helpful, informative, and fun as possible.
